And so it begins…

This project has been in gestation for almost two years. It has taken many forms, and over the past year, it has started to resemble something with enough potential to complete a prototype.

I remember this distinct feeling when creating Twelve Minutes and it was around this stage of development that I began documenting the process.

I’m not sure where this project will lead, but regardless, sharing the journey feels worthwhile.

So, what is this game about?

In The Many Lives of Eve, you’ll guide Eve through key moments in her life, from her birth to her deathbed, making every significant choice—who to befriend, who to fall in love with, where to work, and how to shape her career. Your decisions will ripple outward, affecting everyone around her.

When Eve dies, you’ll have the chance to relive her life, making different choices to progress further along the timeline and reshape the future.

The game explores themes of relationships, choices, and consequences, questioning whether free will is truly free. You’ll witness firsthand how even small actions can leave lasting impacts, altering reality for everyone in Eve’s world.

The goal is to create a cinematic experience with simple, accessible controls while delivering gameplay that is rich, complex, and unique.

Below are some of the very first sketches, exploring whether all this information can be conveyed purely through camera, sound, and animation—without any text.
